She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning as a child actor before performing before an audience of thousands. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of an Philadelphia 76ers match at the age of 11, she was already creating songs. In the following year, she started playing the guitar. Swift became inspired to write her own material by the music of country genre, such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift's parents relocated her to Tennessee when she was thirteen after they sold their Pennsylvania farm. This gave Swift to be more active in courting labels for country music in Nashville.
